After years of working as a graphic designer, painter, textile and decorative artist, I’ve always been fascinated by the unique potential of each different medium, and how to infuse magic and meaning into objects that people adorn themselves and their homes with.
Tattooing is the natural direction of where my practice has been leading me - to creating talismans full of mystery and meaning that you collect and carry with you; tokens of power and personal meaning that grow and change over time with their owners. I am so honored and grateful for the opportunity to bring my artwork to life on the human body.
My artwork style merges my obsession with esoterica, flora and fauna, myths and symbolism with my love of the Arts & Crafts, Symbolist and Art Nouveau movements, and is inspired by occult and alchemical ephemera, medieval manuscripts, 18th-century illustration, and the infinite ways that humans have depicted truth, mystery and meaning throughout the centuries.
